Shiloh's Story
Shiloh is a beautiful brown tabby/Domestic Short Hair with a gentle, confident presence and a quietly affectionate heart. She’s an independent girl at her core, but once she chooses you, she’ll make sure you know it—often by greeting you in the morning with sweet chirps and enthusiastic “grooming” of her favorite humans.

Shiloh is deeply bonded with her brother Edgar, and the two are rarely far apart. Whether they’re snuggled together, grooming one another, or occasionally engaging in a friendly wrestling match, their connection is undeniable. Because of this strong bond, Shiloh must be adopted with Edgar, whom she both adores and relies on.

While Shiloh doesn’t love being picked up, she very much enjoys being close to her people. She’ll happily ask for pets once she’s comfortable, chat away when talked to, and curl up beside you at night—tucked right into your side—acting as your personal, purring space heater until morning. She’s affectionate in a calm, respectful way and thrives with humans who understand feline boundaries.

Shiloh is also quite the skilled hunter and has proven herself to be an excellent mouser. She enjoys playtime with fishing pole toys and laser pointers, and when she’s ready to relax, you’ll find her in her favorite spots: a cozy hiding nook or perched proudly in a cat condo.

She would do best in a home with older children who know how to interact gently with cats. While she prefers to be the only cat, she can adjust to others with proper introductions—but Edgar is non-negotiable. Her experience with dogs is unknown, though with patience and slow introductions, she may adapt.

If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate companion who will talk to you, sleep beside you, and share her life (and her brother) with you, Shiloh may be your perfect match.

Shiloh is fully vetted, was born approximately April 22, 2024, has an adoption fee of $90, and can be adopted outside the immediate Tulsa area. You can apply online here (please read all requirements prior to applying): https://arftulsa.wufoo.com/forms/arf-cat-adoption-application/

Note: ARF reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
