Sherbet and Sorbet's Story
Pleased to meet you, we’re Sherbet and Sorbet.

I’m Sherbet and I’m a young adult neutered male. I’m the larger orange and white tabby. My family member, Sorbet, is a petite spayed young adult female. We’re both current on our vaccinations.

Sorbet and me are bonded and can’t be separated. We were rescued from a home together in Yakima and have relied on each other since day one. I’m more outgoing and social, whereas Sorbet hasn’t learned to trust humans and prefers to be curled up with me.

I would describe myself as friendly, loving, wanting to connect with a human, I enjoy being petted and talked to, and in time I’m certain I’d become your lap cat. I like to play with Sorbet and cat toys. As you can see my fur is quite luxurious because I’m a pro groomer.

Sorbet is quiet and shy but studies humans by looking deep in to their eyes. Sorbet looks to me for her security. She likes to play with me and her cat toys. Although we aren’t sure if she’ll truly become someone’s loving pet, she will be loyal and quiet and grateful to be with a human who she can learn to trust along side me showing her that all humans aren’t bad.

Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.

If you’re interested in meeting Sherbet and Sorbet, please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or, visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application”,
