Sherbet's Story

Sherbet is a the most affectionate and loving kitty you could ever hope to meet. He will climb right into your lap and purr for as long as you allow him. He was found as a stray, so we don't know anything about his past, but he is very friendly and playful and must have been someone's pet. He was neutered on March 5 and was ready for adoption when he started to show signs of gastric distress. He moved to a foster home to recover, where we learned he loves to snuggle with you in bed. We are accepting applications for him now.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
