Sherbert 's Story

Meet Sherbet — A Gentle Soul Learning to Trust: Sherbet is an 18-month-old orange sweetheart with the softest heart imaginable. While the world can still feel a little scary to him at first, the cat he has blossomed into today is proof that patience, kindness, and love can truly change a life. As a kitten, Sherbet was painfully shy and unsure of people. Over time, he has slowly worked through those fears, celebrating countless small milestones along the way. Today, he has discovered that being loved is actually pretty wonderful — and now he enjoys pets, affection, and even curling up as a happy little lap cat. Sherbet is the definition of a gentle soul. He won’t be the kind of cat who storms confidently into a new home on day one, but if given patience and understanding, he will quietly bloom into an incredibly sweet and loving companion. Having another friendly, confident cat in the home would help Sherbet feel safe and secure, and he would do best in a calm environment where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. Watching Sherbet learn to trust has been incredibly rewarding, and whoever gives this special boy a chance will get to experience the joy of seeing his loving personality continue to shine. Underneath the timid exterior is a cat who just wants to feel safe, loved, and home. Sherbet has been neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He is litter box trained and has tested negative for FIV and FelV. His adoption fee is $50.
