Blanket forts are another favorite of mine. I enjoy snuggling under a blanket and feeling all comfy and secure. Once I’m comfortable with my humans, I love receiving pets and cuddling. I need personal space at times, but who doesn't? I’m working on being better about nail trims, but honestly, it might be easier to sneak them in while I’m sleeping if I allow it! I really enjoy floor cardboard scratchers, which help. *Important thing to know about me - I have kidney disease which means I require daily supplements to help keep my body balanced and feeling as good as possible. I also receive subcutaneous fluids and some other extra care to support my health. Now, I'll be honest with you - I do NOT like being picked up or handled much. All the medical stuff can feel confusing and a bit scary from my point of view so I can get nervous, resistant, or aggressive. I promise I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just doing my best to understand what's happening and cope in my own way.*<br/>Loud noises tend to scare me, so I’ll need a quiet space to settle in. When I arrive at my new home, I am best kept in a calm room with my sister, Cayenne, by my side and without anyone handling me. You can speak to me softly but please maintain some distance since I can become aggressive when I’m scared. Over time, I’ll adjust and start seeking affection. I need someone who will understand that I'm a sweet boy but also respects that I don't like being handled. I’m looking for a calm, peaceful home with minimal activity. No young kids please! Once I settle in, I’ll likely bond closely with one person rather than others. I can be scared of men, so proper introductions will need to be done. I'm a bundle of joy and my foster absolutely adores me. I am neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, and ready to find a home with someone who is patient and going to give me my best life.
