Shelby's Story
<p><br/>Shelby was obviously abandoned and living on the street - until the kind woman who found her took her into her own home. She has asked us to help find Shelby a new, loving and forever home.<p><br/><br/>Shelby got a thorough check up and the vet pronounced her healthy, virus free, and "very adoptable!". He estimated Shelby was born in early 2009 and, based on her physique, thought she had some Oriental Shorthair in her heritage. <p><br/><br/>Shelby spends her days and nights indoors with the foster family's other cats and kittens.<p><br/><br/>She is a well-behaved young adult cat who is still very kitten-like: she loves attention and play. <p><br/><br/>Shelby's foster mom has this to say about her personality: <p><br/>"She is so affectionate, licks your face, arm, almost like she's cleaning you, sleeps on my bed, on my arm... loves having her head scratched... a great companion cat!" <p><br/><br/>Shelby is currently living in a wonderful foster home in Signal Hill and really, really, *really* needs her own home soon.<p><br/><br/>If you'd like to meet Shelby, please call or email The Peter Zippi Fund to make arrangements.
