Shelby

Shelby arrived in our shelter not long ago because two great people spotted him in a dangerous situation and felt the responsibility to guarantee his safety. We are eternally grateful to all community members that do not look away and help any animal to be in a better situation.

Shelbs is a big orange boy who is so gentle and cute, you wouldn’t believe it. He should get a job in a radio station. He has a lot to say at all times. He is waiting for his appointment to get neutered and vaccinated so he can join the general population. However, we can tell he will be okay with cats around him and people in general. He does have a fit once in a while with other males in the room, but we expect he will even be more mellow once he is neutered.

We don’t know if he would be okay with children yet, but we expect the best. We do not know about dogs, but typically large feral males do not like dogs.

Visitors are limited to approved applicants only. Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in stopping by. We will be in touch once your application is approved to set up a visit.

Adopt: lighthouseanimalshelter.org/adopt
Foster: lighthouseanimalshelter.org/foster
