Sheena's Story
Sheena is a young adult, maybe a year and a half or so old. She has been through a lot, having been abandoned over the Summer in very unsanitary conditions after her owners moved out. We rescued 13 cats/kittens from the property. In addition to not being spayed, Sheena had a dermoid cyst that we had to have removed!

She is a bit timid in the shelter environment but will really emerge from her shell in a home. She will become more and more lovable the longer she gets to know you, but her adopter needs to understand that She. Will. Hide. It's taken her a while to open up to us here, and going to a new home with total strangers will of course freak her right back out for a while. She will need love and patience to become her best, most relaxed self, and it won't happen overnight. She's been failed by people before, and we want to do our best to make sure it won't happen to her ever again.

Our adoption application and policies can be found here:

https://www.secondchancear.org/adopt-1

(All of our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, de-wormed, tested for FeLV/FIV, and treated for fleas before adoption)
