Shasta's Story

This little one is a very playful and athletic cat - fast, strong, and incredibly agile. She loves to run around the house chasing anything that moves, and can entertain herself for a long time, even with something as simple as a hair tie!

She's independent but also affectionate. In the mornings, she might meow around 5 a.m. in front of the bedroom door, but her voice is soft and not too loud. She's very smart and learns quickly - if you tell her not to do something, she usually listens unless the temptation is just too strong-for eating your food lol.

When you're busy working, after attempting to grab your attention for a bit and failed she'll quietly stay on the sofa, but once you're done, she'll come to you for some gentle attention. She can get a little sad and frustrated if ignored for too long, so she'll do best with someone who enjoys interacting with her.

She eats and drinks a lot, and always runs to the door to greet you when you come home - sometimes even trying to dash outside because she's so curious about the world. She's also great at catching bugs!

She loves being petted and will come to you for it a lot, but she doesn't like being carried or sitting on laps. She likes looking outside windows and loves playing with the wand toy.
