Shasta's Story
Meet Shasta — a gentle, shy sweetheart who’s quietly learning to trust the world.

Shasta is a beautiful brown-and-white tabby who came to us with her brother, Star, but they do not need to be adopted together. What Shasta does need is another friendly, confident cat in her new home — a feline buddy who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe.

Shasta is still finding her confidence with people. She isn’t quite ready for much hands-on attention yet, but she’s safe, cared for, and making slow, steady progress. With time, patience, and a calm environment, she’ll continue to blossom at her own pace.

If you have a quiet home, room in your heart for a shy kitty, and a resident cat who would welcome a new friend, Shasta may be the perfect match.

This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center, and may also be adopted by appointment during the week by approved adopters.

READY TO ADOPT?
