Shamu's Story

Meet Shamu! Shamu came to our rescue just in time, expecting babies at any moment. She soon gave birth to five healthy, beautiful kittens and has been a wonderful mom. Now that her babies are grown up, it's finally her turn to find the loving forever home she deserves. Shamu is an incredibly affectionate girl who loves spending time with her people and happily soaks up attention. She also does well with her feline roommates, tolerating their company with ease. She also enjoyed her canine roommate while she was in foster, even though he could be a bit pushy. If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion with a gentle heart, Shamu is ready to make your home her own. While she was in foster with her babies, Shamu made some beautiful artwork that will go to her forever home with her.

Coastal Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

All Coastal Pet Rescue pets are current on shots, microchipped* and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters are responsible for any shots that may be due after adoption (particularly for kittens and puppies that must have three rounds of shots to be protected). Out of Area Coastal Pet Rescue does not ship or "transport" animals out of area. All adopters must be available to come to Savannah, GA to complete the adoption after approval. Microchip: CPR has implanted a microchip as part of the adoption process and the chip is included in the adoption fee. However, some chip companies require a registration fee varying from $9.99 to $19.99. The registration fees are the responsibility of the adopter and are NOT included in the CPR adoption fee. Adopters may add this cost to their adoption fee to have CPR register the chip on their behalf. Adoption Fees: Kittens: $60, Cats (1 year plus): $50, Puppies: $250, Adult Canines (1 to 6 years): $200, Seniors (7 years plus): $100 (unless otherwise specified). Adoption fees are not a tax-deductible donation as allowed by IRS regulations. Adoption fees help to offset the cost of the pet's care incurred by Coastal Pet Rescue, which are generally 2 to 3 times the adoption fee amount.
