Shadow & Zip's Story

Shadow and Zip, the kitty with the stripe down her nose, are a mother and daughter pair of beautiful, black and white cats. Mama Shadow is about 3 years old and is fixed and vaccinated and microchipped. She is a little shy and just needs some love and attention. Zip is her 1-year-old daughter, who still needs to be fixed but is vaccinated. Zip is incredibly affectionate and friendly and they would make a wonderful addition to any household.

Kona Cats's Adoption Policy

I like to see an adoption form and then talk to them on the phone to get a feel for their readiness and if they would be a good match to a specific cat. We only allow adoptions to indoor-only homes and to those who can afford vet bills and have long-term plans for their animals.

Our mission is to lessen the suffering of homeless kitchens and cats. We strive to help find homes for kittens that would otherwise be euthanized at the shelters of San Bernardino counties and Los Angeles.
