This big boy is named Shadow. He is 2 years old (born April 4, 2024) and was an owner surrender. He is shy at first but very sweet and affectionate once he feels safe. According to his owners Shadow loves to get up and put his paws on your shoulders and has learned simple dog commands like sit, stay, come and no. He has been fine with other cats at New Hope but apparently started stalking the other cat in his previous home, so he may be best as an only cat. He did live with a small dog and was fine with him; any children in his new home should be older. Shadow is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and his adoption fee is $200.
