Shadow's Story

Shadow
Est DOB 7/26
Adoption fee $225

This adorable little guy was found at a local shopping center, scared, hungry, and unsure of people. With time and patience from his foster, he learned that people could be trusted and has become a loving, playful, and affectionate kitten. She named him Shadow because he always wants to be by her side.

Shadow is friendly, chatty, and enjoys being near his people. He likes chasing balls, playing with wand toys, running through his tunnel, and getting attention.

His favorite thing is having his back scratched or brushed. He responds with loud purrs and clearly enjoys the attention.

Shadow also likes other cats and will need a home with a young, playful resident cat. A feline companion will give him someone to play with and keep him company.

Shadow has come a long way from the frightened kitten he once was and is now ready for a family of his own.

The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.

All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are vaccinated. If they have been rescued as kittens under 4 months, they will not have a rabies vaccine. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped.

We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
