Shadow's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Shadow is a striking gray girl that knew just where to go for assistance, she found a PAWS volunteer's home at Christmastime. Shadow took right to her family - following them around as they went in and out of their home. Sadly, this beautiful friendly girl was never reclaimed by whoever lost her. At the time she was found, Shadow was very thin, so she must have been a stray for a while. However, the good news is she came with her sweet disposition, confidence and excellent social skills. Shadow must have been loved in her previous life! She is eager for interaction and flopped and rolled so much during her photos not caring if we got her good side or whatever... Shadow is a people-kitty! She craves attention and doesn't want to give it up when the time comes to part ways. Shadow had a few bouts with ear infections or she would have already been adopted. Even with her longer stay - she has adjusted well in her short Cat Room resident life and is waiting for the next session of pets and coos from volunteers. Go near her kitty-condo and she will greet you at the door. In her eyes you can see she is hoping you are her forever. All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.

Learn more about our Adoption Information here and fill out an application here.
