My world turned upside down when my family had to leave our home, and I wasn’t able to go with them. Now, I’m in a shelter, which feels loud and scary — it’s not the place I want to be. I’m definitely a little scared here, but if you look closely, you’ll see a sweet, gentle boy hoping for a second chance. I might take some time to warm up, but once I do, I’m the softest, most loving companion you could ask for. I dream of a quiet, safe home where I can relax, feel safe, and be loved for who I am — a shy but loyal friend. If you have a big heart and a patient hand, maybe you could be my forever person. Foothills Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adopting a pet at Foothills Animal Rescue is a simple process, and we have a dedicated staff of Adoption Counselors to help you through the procedure. How to adopt at FAR: Currently under Covid 19 protocols You can view our pets online and make an appointment to meet them. Get to know our pets. Enjoy our meet and greet room where you can spend individual time to play, pet or just sit with them. Converse with our adoption counselors about our pets, our adoption process and what to expect during the first few days. Some of our pets may need a family or dog introduction before able to adopt based on specific observations made at the sheer environment. Once you've decided to adopt, our pets are able to go home usually that same day. They are already neutered/spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Enjoy your lifetime of unconditional love.
