His owner was moving, could not take him with her, and could not find anyone who wanted a diabetic cat. At this point, his life became at risk, and his only option for life was to come to DunRoamin'.

A visit to his new vet at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic determined that he had been born about March 27, 2018, He had a bladder infection and is definitely diabetic. As he has had no medication, his diabetes was uncontrolled, and since he didn't feel good, he was very unhappy. He was cranky and not very nice to his new friends, but we understood completely.

Seymour was prescribed a diabetic diet and medication and he was soon feeling much better. He is much happier, less stressed and is happy to be cared for by his new servants who can now pat him, play with him and even pick him up! What a difference a little medical assistance can make in a little cat's life!

Seymour will soon be 100%, once his diabetes is completely under control. He was prescribed an oral diabetes medication which he happily eats on his food and therefore does not require insulin injections. He displays his gratitude each day for his improving health, and he is becoming a very happy boy who loves his caregivers and is happy to show that love and gratitude! He is particularly grateful to his sponsors who help provide his diabetic food and medication - it has changed his whole world! Seymour looks forward to a new home - preferably similar to his last one. He likes a quiet home, maybe as the only feline friend of senior citizen, to whom he can give all his love.
