He settles in quickly to new spaces and new friends. When he’s first starting to get to know you, he’ll rub against you as if to say “Hello! It’s nice to meet you.”<br/><br/>One of Seymour’s greatest enjoyments is a good forehead massage, and it’s something he looks forward to (and demands!) every evening. He’ll sit with you on the sofa at the end of each day, waiting expectantly for you to spoil him with love while you watch TV. While he’s not a huge fan of being picked up or held, he absolutely loves being petted, especially from his head down his back.<br/><br/>Though he’s a senior cat, Seymour is active and quick on his feet. His favorite time of day is in the evening after sunset, when it’s time to play. He likes to hunt and stalk toys like felted mice or small bouncy balls, or even things he considers obstacles like the couch and scratch pads before pouncing. His favorite toy of all is a wand toy with a pink ball that he loves catching.<br/><br/>Seymour is currently taking daily medication for a possible arthritis or old injury issue. He takes the medication well, and if you’ve never given medication to a cat before, we’re happy to show you how. He is on a novel protein diet due to food allergies.<br/><br/>Seymour is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
