Seven *BLIND-FELV+ Kitten*

Seven needs a home!<br/>Seven is an 8 month old tabby male kitten. He is extra special for SO many reasons and deserves the best home EVER! Seven came to us orphaned at 6 weeks old with both of his eyes completely ruptured. He's known nothing else but being blind, so both of his eyes were removed and biopsied to be sure nothing was ongoing, and it wasn't. He felt so much better after his emergency surgery as just a baby. You'd never know that he's blind, he functions like any other busy, silly kitten! He is a warrior!<br/><br/>*Seven is also felv+ *<br/><br/>This means, he is immunocompromised and will eventually succumb to his diagnosis. However, he can live a full, meaningful life with this diagnosis it just may be a little shorter (cats with felv have lived over 10 years with good care!) <br/>Most shelters and rescues do not have felv protocols in place, and many euthanize upon this diagnosis. Upon rescuing Seven, with his many ailments, we know almost anyone else rescuing him might have elected euthanasia, but he was a fighter and we quickly decided to take it 1 step at a time and let him guide our decisions. We are pleased to say that Seven is now fully vetted, healthy and thriving. He's happy and he is pain free and loving life. And we know someone out there will see how extremely deserving this baby is and pick him to spoil for his entire life! Seven is so adorable, social, confident, playful, busy, inquisitive, goofy, loving and absolutely purrfect!<br/><br/>Vetting: Seven is neutered, dewormed, flea free and treated, microchipped with lifetime registration, up-to-date on all of his annual shots (Rabies, Distemper) fiv negative and felv positive. His bloodwork is otherwise normal and he's been extensively tested. He had both eyes removed at 2 months old and fully recovered from his surgery.<br/><br/>*** Seven must be the ONLY cat or he can be adopted to a home with another felv+ kitty *he would LOVE that*<br/>***Seven LOVES dogs and has a GSD as a foster brother. Felv is not transmitted to other species so he would absolutely adore a cat-friendly dog. He plays with his foster brother endlessly.<br/>***Seven LOVES kids. His foster home has 2 kiddos that he adores.<br/>****Being blind, we do ask his forever home either not have a pool or can keep him strictly off a lanai for his safety. With his immune system more fragile than other kitties, he must be STRICTLY indoors. <br/><br/>We will deliver Seven almost anywhere for his ideal home. (Though preference to those in the state of Florida or Georgia) He is a very special exception and we will do whatever we need to find him the best home because he's an amazing kitten. A kitten we love and adore and cherish. He's impossible not to love.
