Meet SETZER one of the Stray Cats!<br/><br/>These adorable kitties are named after current and past members of the Stray Cats, a rockabilly band formed in 1979. Famous for a song titled "Stray Cat Strut"....these 2 female and 2 male siblings really know how to strut their stuff! Born to a feral mother at the Dollar Tree in Willows and in need to rescue, the manager reached out to Catnip & Cattitude. <br/><br/>This handsome tuxedo kitty really knows how to sing! He's an excellent purr machine who sometimes makes the sweetest chirpy noises. Like most kittens, he loves to snuggle almost as much as he loves to play. Whether it is leaping on the cat trees, playing with toys or trying to learn how to use the cat wheel...this little guy has energy to burn.

Erath County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

When someone comes in wanting to adopt, we first ask what they are looking for in a new pet. If they can describe what they are looking for, we will make some suggestions based on that criteria, and then let them go through the shelter looking at the adoptable animals. There are kennel cards on each kennel with information specific to that animal. Once they find an animal they are interested in we do a meet and greet with the person interested in adopting. If they have other pets, we recommend a meet and greet with current pets as well. Whatever animal the potential adopter chooses, we highly suggest a 5 day foster period to make sure the animal and the adopter are a good fit.

The mission of the Erath County Humane Society is to care for unwanted and lost animals, reunite lost animals with their owners and find homes for adoptable pets. We work closely with our community to decrease pet overpopulation and to provide a safe place for animals as they await their permanent homes.
