Setzer's Story
Setzer is a young adult cat (between 1-2 years old) who survived devastating injuries against huge odds. He did end up losing one hind leg, but he made an amazing recovery and handled his recuperation like an absolute star.

He is extremely kind and loves to have his chin and chest scratched, even flopping over to show his affection. He has done great with meeting other cats and shows a real interest in making friends with them (but if they don’t want to be friends, he’s content to mind his business). He’s even showing us he has a little bit of a silly side, learning to play with toys and doing some mini-zoomies on his three legs!

He is FIV/FeLV negative, free of parasites, up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped.

He doesn’t have any real limitations with having 3 legs, but he hasn’t quite figured out jumping up/climbing yet so he will likely need some accommodations like bed on the ground for him and low-elevation cat trees. He does fine with stairs!
