Sesame's Story

Sesame is a 4 month old (as of 3/2026) playful, energetic kitten with a big personality and an even bigger love for other cats. His favorite activities include chasing his foster brother around the house, climbing his tree house, batting around toys, and occasionally chomping on his foster mom’s fingers during playtime.

He’s a clever little guy who quickly figured out how to unzip his playpen, proving he’s both curious and smart. When he gets nervous he sometimes lets out a tiny squeal and fart, which just adds to his quirky charm.

Sesame is truly a “cat’s cat” and would do best in a home with another playful feline friend to wrestle, chase, and groom. He absolutely adores his foster brother and will happily follow him around all day, trying to snuggle, groom, and convince him to play. In a perfect world, Sesame would spend most of his day running, climbing, and engaging in kitten shenanigans with another cat companion.

With people, Sesame is still building confidence and continuing his socialization journey. He may run away when someone first approaches, but once he’s gently scooped up, he quickly melts into back rubs and starts purring. He’s learning that people can be pretty great, and every day he gets a little braver. He can also be a vocal little guy and isn’t shy about telling you when he wants attention or food.

Sesame has been making great strides in his foster home! With a little patience, lots of playtime, and a cat buddy to keep him busy, Sesame will blossom into a loving and entertaining companion.

Sesame is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative.

*To apply for Sesame (you must have a friendly cat or a kitten!) please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *

Catcalls Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please thoroughly read the following information about adopting a Catcalls Rescue cat/kitten before applying. Must be 21+ to apply. Fill out the form thoroughly. The more information you provide, the better! Incomplete forms will not be considered. Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our volunteers, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt. We cannot hold cats/kittens for adoption. Kittens do best when they have a friend! Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with existing pets. All current pets in applicants’ homes must be spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cats in the home must be FIV/FeLV tested. Safety is a priority at Catcalls Rescue, so a virtual or in-person home check will be completed prior to adoption to make sure your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in their new environment! All Catcalls Rescue cats and kittens come with health records and are dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, you may not receive a response. We will reach out to applicants that are best suited for each feline within one week of receiving their application. **Emails asking us if we have received apps only slows up the process for everyone. We can't respond to those any faster than we can respond to a good application! Please keep that in mind! If you are the best fit for our kitties, you will absolutely hear from us! Thank you!**
