Happy Fall! The calendar might say we are in the "ber" months, but the temperatures are still warm! That means we are still struggling through kitten season. We desperately need to make room to get Moms, kittens and other cats in and fixed before the cold comes. Please consider adopting! And tell your friend to adopt too! We still have lots of kittens and some of our older cats have been here awhile, so there is a cat for everyone!! Remember, <br/>adopting saves TWO cats lives! I'm Sesame! I'm a mellow kitty, but I still love to play! I'm soooo happy I was found when I was young and brought in off the streets. I'm getting a little sad that I still haven't found me forever home. I've been waiting over 365 days ( almost a year!) for a home! <br/>I know I'm such a lucky boy because I don't have to worry about looking for food, a place to sleep, fighting with other kitties or getting diseases ...So there is more time to playyyy!! The shelter people took good care of me and helped me, but it's time I move into my own forever home!! <br/>I love to play with other kitties or by myself! I love batting around toys, trying to catch the red dot and really just having lots of fun! I can be a shy at first but once you get to know me I want lots of love. I really love to be brushed too! <br/>I really love playing, getting pets and I think I'm really going to love cuddles too! And I LOVE wet kitty food ! I do love other kitties as long as they don't mind being friends with me (and you properly introduce us!) probably no dogs. Older kids might be okay as long as they are gentle. <br/>I'm a good kitty! I'm playful and energetic but I love some downtime with pets too!! Again, I will be a little shy so you'll have to have a little patience with me and give me time to adjust. I really want my own person or even a family and I've been waiting a long time. <br/>Hopefully I'm the kitty you're looking for? If you need more convincing come see me at the shelter! Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months.
