Sergio was rescued from a street in Paterson NJ. He is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s learning how good it feels to trust and be loved. He makes biscuits when he feels safe. He’s more timid and passive than his buddy Bennie, and unlikely to bother other animals, he’s very much a “human person” who prefers quiet companionship over chaos. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he adores back scratches, face rubs, and belly rubs. While he started off hiding in the closet, Sergio has recently blossomed—he now lounges in his favorite spots and has the best time playing with toys at night, zooming around with joy. He just needs a little patience and love to fully open up. He is best friends with a new kitten foster! Sergio is neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped.
