Serenity 's Story
Calling all senior cat lovers!

My name is Serenity and I am just as calm and gentle as my name suggests. I tend to be a bit reclusive and typically stay in the safe space of my little cat hut. I was frightened, yet cooperative when held and handled during my veterinary exam (though I sought refuge back in my hut immediately after). The only time staff members really notice me out and about is when I'm eating. When someone catches me out of my hut, I can get very startled and feel vulnerable. I tend to freeze like a deer caught in headlights before returning back to my safe space.

The ideal home for me is one that is quiet with an adopter who is not expecting excessive affection from me. As a senior myself I would make a wonderful companion for a human senior who wants gentle companionship in the house. The thought of being nestled in my hut in a warm sunny window sounds quite pleasant to me. I hope to live out my golden years with an adopter who understands how incredible senior pets are! If you are looking to provide quiet comfort for a gentle old guy, I might be the right match for you.
