Serena's Story
We received a call about a cat roaming around a park on the Lower East Side. The people who found her noted that she had a large, golf ball-sized mass hanging off her jaw. One of our staff members went over to the park, found Serena, and brought her back to safety at Animal Haven.

Luckily, one of our vets was on site when she arrived, and they were able to take an initial look at Serena. She went to one of our partner vets for removal of the mass. We had the mass biopsied and she's in the clear!

Serena is an absolutely darling cat-she starts purring the moment we open her cabin, and leans in for head scratches. She's eating and drinking, and while we're sure the mass isn't comfortable, she doesn't seem to be in pain. We will know more about her diagnosis soon!
