Serena's Story
Meet Serena!!!

Serena is sweet, goofy, clever, curious, fearless, and quite possibly one of the funniest kittens you'll ever meet.

She is an incredibly curious girl who wants to be involved in whatever her people are doing. Serena may not necessarily want to sit on you or be carried around—she prefers her affection on her own terms—but she absolutely wants to be near you. If something is happening in the house, she needs to know about it.

And fear? Serena doesn't seem particularly familiar with the concept. The vacuum? Interesting. The broom? Potential toy. Household commotion? Whatever. She's much too busy.

Serena LOVES to play. Toys are definitely her favorite, and she has a special talent for turning ordinary household objects into entertainment. She'll play with other cats too, but she's much more interested in a good toy than an all-out kitten wrestling match.

She's social with other cats and seeks them out for companionship and grooming. She seems to genuinely enjoy having feline friends around, even if she doesn't necessarily want them joining in every activity.

Serena is independent without being aloof, affectionate without being clingy, and endlessly entertaining. She's confident, curious, and full of personality—the kind of kitten who doesn't just live in your house. She becomes part of everything happening in it.

She'll keep you laughing, keep you company, and almost certainly keep you on your toes.

A loving home starts with a loving foster home.

At Northwest Animal Companions, every kitten is raised in a foster home, never in a large shelter building. Our kittens are loved and cared for in homes where their foster families get to know their personalities, habits, and needs. That means we can help you find the right match and share what makes each kitten special before you bring them home.

Our $175 adoption fee includes:

- Spay or neuter surgery
- Microchip - Homeagain Temp Scan
- Deworming and flea treatment (as needed)
- Vaccinations up to date for their age
- A veterinary exam
- Testing for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)

We are proud to be one of the few rescues in our area that provides FeLV/FIV testing for our adoptable kittens.

Our commitment continues after adoption. If an adoption does not work out for any reason, we will take our cat or kitten back. They will always have a place with our rescue.

Ready to meet your new family member? Please complete an adoption application, http://nwac-oregon.org/adoption-application. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet, so check your junk/spam mail frequently.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, nonprofit rescue. With no large facility, our work happens through dedicated foster families, volunteers, and supporters. Every dollar of your adoption fee goes directly toward the medical care and daily needs of the animals in our care.
