Serabi's Story

"Serabi" had a major life change. Serabi was adopted as a kitten 8 years ago. She was brought into a home with children, dogs and other cats. One year ago, the family had a major crisis and the family fell apart. Serabi was surrendered to the shelter. She was placed in a foster home at it was discovered that she is not fully housebroken. She peed on a chair yet uses the litterbox as well. Serabi needs to be re-trained to be housebroken. A small quiet room where she can feel safe would help. The last few months in her past home were not good, she did not have a clean litter pan to use and was somewhat neglected. This would be the reason for the re-training.

A loving, patient person is all she needs! Serabi is a really sweet, social cat!

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.

This link will take you to our adoption application.
https://capemaycountynj.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5814/Adoption-Application
