Selma has been through more than a kitten ever should. She was returned from a home that didn’t give her the love and safety she deserved and she’s still working through the stress from that experience. Because of her past, Selma can sometimes act out when she’s scared or overwhelmed. It’s not who she is—it’s just her trying to protect herself the only way she knows how. She sometimes hesitates like she’s trying to figure out how to avoid getting in trouble. But behind all that, she’s a very sweet and affectionate girl who truly wants attention and connection. Like a typical kitten, Selma loves to play and has a fun, energetic side. <br/><br/>She's just looking for a patient, understanding home where she can continue to heal at her own pace. She needs someone who will show her that she’s safe, that she won’t be punished for being herself, and that love is something she can rely on. With a little time and kindness, Selma will blossom into the confident, happy cat she was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Would need very slow introductions if there are other cats in the house.<br/><br/>All cats and kittens come spayed and neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fees are $50.00 for adult cats and $75.00 for kittens under 6 months old at the time of adoption.
