After living in a home, suddenly finding herself in a shelter cage has been a big and scary adjustment for her. Right now, she's understandably unsure of her new surroundings and needs someone who will respect her space and give her time to settle in.<br/>Selena would do best with an experienced cat person who understands that some cats need patience and time to feel safe. We also feel she could thrive in a safe, appropriate barn-cat setting, where she could have the freedom and independence she prefers while still being cared for and protected.<br/>Selena didn't choose to lose the home she knew.
