Seamus O'Reilly & Max's Story

Seamus O'Reilly and his bonded brother Max yearn to return to the Emerald Isle of a peaceful and quiet family home! These anything-but-wee lads are eagerly hoping you might be that lucky pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for them!

Seamus and Max were originally adopted from PAWS when they were, in fact, actual wee lads. Unfortunately, their owner has since passed away, so these two are looking for their new forever home. Seamus, our soft spoken ginger poet, is the introverted wallflower of the two. His always-dapper bestie Max, with his permanently pressed tuxedo apparel, is the more gregarious of the two. Max enjoys laying on fuzzy sweaters, laying in the middle of the floor, and if he sees you laying around, he wants to lay around, too! Seamus just wants his personal bubble respected (and thus these two would prefer an adults-only home; perhaps with other chill cats who can ignore Seamus) but he's a good listener if you just need to chat with someone! He also loves his snackies and generally prefers to alternate between napping in a sunny window sill, and napping in his toasty-warm little hidey bed.

Both Seamus and Max had some minor dental work done when coming back to PAWS, getting a nice cleaning a few extractions each. Seamus also was diagnosed with early stage kidney disease, but at the moment he doesn't require any medications or a special diet- his future adopter will just need to bring him back for repeat bloodwork periodically, to monitor his kidney function.

------------------------------------

This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home. Please email their foster parent at adoptions@phillypaws.org to learn more about them!

In order to meet any cats in foster care, you will need to have an approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please submit an adoption application online at phillypaws.org/catapp.

If you have any questions for our adoption team, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-238-9901 ext. 30.
