Sea Breeze's Story

While I’m not as fearful as I was when I first joined my foster family, I’ll still need some time to be tamed and socialized using food, which is the best way to encourage me to interact. Right now, I run away and don’t want to be held because I’m still not comfortable around humans.

I’m looking for a family that will take the time to continue my socialization, and that has a kitty friend who can facilitate my integration. I’m not a mean kitten, I’m just scared. However, I feel ready to leave my siblings to learn new experiences elsewhere. Patience and socialization will be the key to my success.

To feel comfortable in my new home, I’ll need a safe room where I can be isolated from the rest of the household. This room should have a hiding place, toys, and all the accessories necessary for my well-being. Mission Mayday will be happy to share a socialization guide with my future human parents!

I need to live with a well-adjusted adult cat to help with my integration and socialization

I currently live with a large dog, and I just ignore him as long as he respects my space

Since I’m very fearful, I must live in a home without children, so I can enjoy the calm I need to adapt
