Scout's Story
This handsome senior joined us in April 2025, from IL where he was rescued last year luckily, from a dismal neighborhood situation by a good samaritan. He is now one of our very healthy fiv+ guys, who craves personal attention and human companionship, over feline camaraderie. He was flown to us by our Delta Dart team of volunteer stewardesses, and he won the hearts of everyone he's crossed paths. Since his arrival he's had his dental care completely and a full wellness exam including bloodwork and is all ready to pack his little suitcase, to lavish his attention on his forever person and home.

We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our obligate carnivorous cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing with Kansas State Veterinary Lab, in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Rabies Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.

The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.

Please contact Christine@Headbutthotel.org for our adoption paperwork.
