Scotty (bonded with Ziggy)'s Story

Scotty is a classically handsome tuxedo boy. He was found along with his brother, outside a convenience store. Together, these sweet, sensitive boys were doing their best to survive in the wild. But now, after a few months of gentle care, they are a bonded pair looking for a calm place to finally call home.
Because of his rough start, new people and loud noises can be really scary for Scotty. He needs a quiet home with adults or older children who understand that trust takes time and that he will often choose to hide when unfamiliar faces come around.
However, once Scotty feels safe, that is when his real personality shines. He is a playful, gentle kitty who loves toys and treats. He has a soft, affectionate side that comes out on his own terms. When he is ready to settle down, Scotty will quietly hop up and curl into your lap. Those moments are hard earned and extra special.
Scotty does well with respectful dogs, as long as they are calm and will not chase him or bark at him.
Along with his brother, Ziggy, Scotty is looking for someone patient, understanding, and committed to gaining loyal companions who just need a bit of time to feel brave enough to show you how much they appreciate their new home. For more information about Scotty and his buddy, contact their foster, Sarah at sarahm@meowvillage.org
NOTE: Meow Village is an all foster-based rescue, so all questions and inquiries about the kitties should be directed to their foster families.
