Meet Scooter, a handsome 3-year-old domestic shorthair tabby with charming white mittens and a big heart. This neutered male came to us from a downstate high-kill shelter as a medical rescue after suffering a back injury that left him unable to use his back legs.<br/><br/>With dedicated care from our rescues veterinarian, Scooter has made an amazing recovery and is now walking again! He still has a little wobble in his hind legs, but that doesnt stop him from enjoying life. He can jump onto a low chair, handle stairs without difficulty, and continue to build his strength every day.<br/><br/>Scooter is a social guy who is comfortable sharing his home with other cats and cat-friendly dogs.
