Scooby's Story
Looking to solve the mystery of what you’re missing in life? Here’s a clue: this charming goofball! Scooby is a 5-year-old orange-and-white sweetie searching for a forever human to love with his whole heart.

With a happy-go-lucky demeanor, Scooby lives for food, pets, and his people. His favorite way to greet you is by throwing himself sideways so his entire body weight lands on your hand—his not-so-subtle way of demanding pets. He also loves lounging on laps and having both hands scratch his neck. He may occasionally get a bit overstimulated and give a light, no-claws swat, but then he’s right back to soaking up attention and asking for more.

Given his clear zest for life, you’d never guess that Scooby is such a resilient boy. As a kitten, he had a broken leg that didn’t heal properly, but it doesn’t slow him down much. When he gets extra excited and rolls onto his back, you might notice a little “hitch” as he gathers his legs underneath him. He also has a damaged eye from his time as an outdoor kitty.

Scooby is guaranteed to be a devoted companion who brings lots of love and laughter to your home. Do you need this sweet boy in your life? You Scooby–dooby-do!

Interested in adopting Scooby? To learn more, go to:
http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/

Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24)
< 12 mos.
$375
1-4 yrs
$300
5-9 yrs.
$250
10+ yrs.
$125

These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
