When her foster went to feed the community cats, a very skinny young mom appeared, waiting patiently for food. She was friendly right away and walked up for help. It was clear she was nursing, so her foster searched nearby and soon found two kittens following the technicians around, crying for their mom. Scarlett and her babies were safely scooped up and brought into foster care, where they’ve been thriving ever since.<br/><br/>Now that her kittens are growing up, Scarlett is ready for a home of her own. She’s a sweet, quiet girl with a soft voice and a gentle soul. Scarlett loves being near her people and makes adorable little trills when she’s happy. She enjoys pets, cozy naps, and watching the world from a sunny window.<br/><br/>Scarlett is still filling out after being underweight, but she’s healthy, loving, and learning just how good indoor life can be. This tender-hearted young mom deserves a forever home where she can finally be the one cared for. ??<br/><br/>The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org.<br/><br/>All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. <br/><br/>We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.
