Scamp's Story

Scamp is a bundle of energy. Fun to watch, and he will wrestle with other cats and dogs. He loves the interaction and antics. Very affectionate and will curl up in a human's lap or his favorite napping spot. No need for expensive cat toys. Crumple up a piece of paper into a ball and toss it. That will entertain him for hours. Good with children, dogs, and other cats. EST DOB May 2023 If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. LowCountry Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

We have adoption events (location varies-see below) every Saturday from 1-4. Not all of the dogs attend so please email ahead of time if there is one in particular you would like to meet. Also, a pre-approved application is required in order to adopt from the event so please email for an application. We also try to adopt locally first (tricounty area). Out of area adoptions are a case by case basis. If you would like to adopt a dog under the age of three, you must have a current pet or a previous pet in the last 10 years. Cats under the age of 1 year also require a vet reference.
