Sawyer's Story

Meet sweet and goofy Sawyer. He came to us as a stray who had extensive dental issues that required the removal of most of his teeth. His diet now consists mostly of soft foods. He also had a condition in which his eyelashes grew inward rubbing his eyes. He’s since had surgery to repair this condition leaving his eyes appearing smaller than normal. Sawyer is a very vocal guy who gets the zoomies and runs through the house. He’s recently discovered the joy of playing with toys. Sawyer loves being around people and engaging in interactive play. He loves to curl up on a lap for a nap. He’s a fun guy who is ready for a healthier, simpler lifestyle. Sawyer has some skin allergies that require monitoring and may require medication at times. Sawyer would be happy as the only cat in the home or would do well with a teenaged kitten with similar energy as his. The first steps of adoption is to submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application For questions you can email the foster home at d_neese_g@yahoo.com
