Sawyer's Story

Meet Sawyer. This guy may have the appearance of an older gentleman but he is around 4 years old. Sawyer had a rough start in life. He was a stray who had extensive dental issues that required the removal of most of his teeth. Now he likes to stick his tongue out in the cutest way! His diet is mostly soft foods due to his dental issues. He also had a condition in which his eyelashes grew inward rubbing his eyes all the time. He’s since had surgery to repair this condition but he still has smaller eyes than most cats. ?But Sawyer has not let any of these needs dampen his spirit! He is a very vocal guy who gets the zoomies pretty often and runs through the house. He’s recently discovered the joy of playing with his toys. Sawyer loves being around people. He loves to curl up on a lap for a nap. He’s a sweet guy who is ready for a healthier, simpler lifestyle. He has been around cats and done well but not been tested with dogs. The first steps of adoption is to submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application For questions you can email the foster home at d_neese_g@yahoo.com
