Meet Sawyer!<br/>Sawyer is a handsome, easy-going, older white kitten with a black tabby tale. He was born at the foster home Feb. 23, 2026. He jumps into your lap when you sit or will let you place him there, staying for short session of petting or brushing. Sawyer purrs on contact with his trusted person. Occasionally he rolls over for tummy stroking. He greets you at the door, ankle rubs, and tags along while you walk around the house. Sawyer likes being picked up and held for a short while and gives kitty-kisses. He is quiet until meal time and then he informs you that you are late.<br/> <br/>Sawyer gets along with most cats as well as with the foster’s large, gentle dog. He is very friendly with trusted folks and friendly with strangers. He likes watching wildlife at the window, playing with interactive toys if there is no competition, and by himself with favorite cat toys. Sawyer would do best with another pet for a pal. He uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Siblings are available. <br/><br/>This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx.
