Meet Sawyer! Sawyer came to us after being surrendered because the other cats in his previous home were picking on him. Despite that, this sweet boy still adores other cats and would likely love to find a gentle feline friend to bond with. Sawyer can be a little on the shy side at first and prefers a calm environment, as loud noises and quick movements can make him nervous. But once he feels safe, his loving personality really shines. He's always making biscuits, leaning in for pets, and soaking up all the affection he can get. And have you seen that handsome face? Sawyer is truly as sweet as he is good-looking! Because of his sensitive nature, he would likely do best in a quieter home without dogs or very young children. With a little patience and love, Sawyer will make an amazing best friend! The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at info@rispca.org.
