Sauron

Sauron, in spite of his name, is the absolute sweetest, most affectionate kitten his foster parents have ever had. This fluff ball adores cuddling with humans, and napping on them, whether that be on their chest, smushed between them and the sofa cushions or wrapped around one of their neck’s like a scarf between his adventures. He also seems to love exploring textured items, and will rub himself all over people’s beards and nibble on long hair, if allowed. Sauron also thoroughly enjoys playing with his brothers and chasing them around, but can also appreciate watching them do all the exploring while relaxing from afar. This patient cat also clearly communicates with his foster parents, and will calmly sit next to you, watch you, and wait until it’s his turn to speak up and ask for attention. Our cats are vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and tested for FeLV, FIV, and Heartworm disease before being placed in carefully selected homes.<br/><br/>We are foster–based, meaning we do not have a facility. All of our cats are in foster homes in the Southern Maryland area. Our goal is to protect animals in the Chesapeake Bay area and beyond. We connect animals in need to safe homes and facilitate their access to quality veterinary care. Our rescue also provides trap-neuter-return, education and outreach services to support the well-being of animals within the community at-large. This organization emphasizes transparency and integrity while providing educational resources to support the humane treatment of animals.
