Satchmo's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Satchmo was found on the access road of Hwy 75 in McKinney. His foster mom was going home from work and due to traffic took the access rd instead of the hwy. He was huddled up against the median and even though she was pretty sure he was not alive, she had to check. Running across two lanes in heels, a suit and a cat carrier, as she approached, his eyes moved and she knew he was alive. She scooped him up and took him home. Surprisingly he had very little damage, bumps scrapes and a badly bruised tongue which made it hard to eat at first, but he got the all clear from the vet. He took a little time to get used to everything in his foster home but now he is living his best life, is super sweet and loves to make biscuits when you pet him. He follows people around and begs for pets. He gets along well with other cats and likes to sleep in your bed.
