Saskatchewan (m) & California (f)'s Story

Saskatchewan (M, "Sasquatch") and California (F) - Bonded Sibling Pair. Must be adopted together.

These eight-month-old siblings were trapped from a local Forest Hills colony this past September (on nights Chappell Roan was playing, hence their temporary names!). After two months in foster care being socialized, they've bonded closely while adapting to indoor life, and we're hoping to keep them together.

They've been fully integrated with their foster home's two adult female cats (ages 6 and 7) for over a month. They get along well - only occasionally annoying the older cats the way playful kittens do - and will play together and with the resident cats.

Sasquatch was friendly even while living outside and has continued to be incredibly human-oriented indoors. He's an absolute lovebug who adores pets and cuddles - you'll often find him in someone's lap or curled up nearby. With his notably long tail, we expect him to grow into a larger cat. He loves all toys, but especially seems to love wand toys.

California is more cautious than her brother but equally sweet once she feels safe. She loves being petted and is a total cuddler with one of her foster moms (still warming up to the other). She's shown more curiosity about the other household cats and is especially playful with small toys she can chase, like balls.

Medical & Behavioral Notes:
Both are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and fully vaccinated.

As former outdoor cats, both can be skittish in new situations and around new people (Sasquatch mainly when startled, California more generally), so they'll do best with patient adopters. However, they've come remarkably far in just two months. They have no behavioral issues and are only slightly more energetic than the older cats they live with - playful but not destructive. They sleep plenty and eat well, though they can be a bit picky about food (having been regularly fed rotisserie chicken while outside, they've developed some preferences!).
