Sasha's Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Sasha is an engaging kitty happy to make friends with you and your kitty, if her sister cannot accompany her to her new home.

Sasha is a gorgeous black-and-white fluffy queen with a curious, confident spirit and a growing appreciation for human affection. Among her sisters, she has always been the explorer — the one checking out new things, watching household activity with interest, and strutting around like she owns the place.

While Sasha is still an independent girl who values her personal space, she has made wonderful progress and now enjoys gentle pets, especially once she feels comfortable and trusts her person. She’s not demanding or clingy, but she’s learning that human hands can be pretty nice after all. Sasha loves being near her people, supervising daily activities, and soaking up the energy of the home.

She would thrive in a calm, patient household that respects her boundaries while continuing to let her blossom at her own pace. Sasha brings personality, confidence, and a quiet elegance to any home — and with time, she may continue to surprise you with how affectionate she becomes.

Sasha would do especially well adopted with her sister Squeaky, as the two balance each other beautifully and provide comfort and familiarity for one another.

If you appreciate confident cats with character and are happy to let a relationship grow naturally, Sasha could be your perfect match.

Would you like to make Sasha, and maybe Squeaky too, a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
