Sasha is a sweet 10-year-old lady who has had a pretty rough few years. When her original guardians moved away, Sasha was left behind to fend for herself. Thankfully, some kind neighbors noticed her and made sure she was fed, and Sasha stayed close to the only neighborhood she knew as home.<br/><br/>We don't know what her life looked like before she found her way to us. We only know that she spent far too much of it outside, fending for herself. Through the heat, the cold, the rain, and the lonely nights, she survived.<br/><br/>Now, she deserves more than survival.<br/><br/>Since she's been in our care, we've learned that Sasha has mild kidney disease and will need a prescription kidney-friendly diet to maintain optimal health. It isn't stopping her from being the sweet, gentle soul she is—it just means she needs someone willing to love her exactly as she is.<br/><br/>We believe Sasha is around 10 years old. She's not asking for much. She isn't looking for adventure or excitement. She just wants a warm bed, gentle hands, a quiet home, and someone who will finally make her feel like she belongs.<br/><br/>Our hearts break knowing that her first real experience of safety and love may have come this late in life.
