Sardine/Sardinia's Story

Quiet, unassuming Sardinia with her tiny meow laid on my lap as we drove from her TNR spot to her new temporary home at our rescue! Did you know that only 20% of orange cats are female? Sardinia is sweet and calm and readily accepts pets from our volunteers. She is 1-2 years old and completely vetted and microchipped. Her combo test was neg/neg:)

Lauren's Lost Cats's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process begins with the potential adopter reaching out to us about their desire to adopt a cat or kitten. They are provided an adoption application, email and phone number in case they have questions or concerns. Once the application is in, Lauren ‘s Lost Cats volunteers check potential adopters place of residence, Landlord (that they allow pets) Vetrinary reference, personal references, Do Not Adopt Lists and social media to provide rescue with a snap shot of the adopters ability to care for, afford, and love the animal they adopt. In our application is a description of our desire to stay in contact with and assist adopter in the future.
