Sandy/Sammy's Story

Meet Sammy & Sandy – Bonded Brothers with Big Hearts!
(Courtesy Post – Not in the Custody of Darien Animal Hospital)

Sammy and Sandy are a sweet, inseparable pair of approximately 3-year-old bonded brothers. Whether they’re curled up together for one of their many daily catnaps or quietly keeping each other company, these boys are never far apart.

Sandy is the more confident of the two and often takes the lead in new situations, helping his more reserved brother, Sammy, feel safe and reassured. Their deep bond is heartwarming to witness, and they’re looking for a forever home where they can stay together—just as they’ve always been.

Both Sammy and Sandy are FIV-positive, which may sound scary at first, but it’s really not! Cats with FIV can live long, healthy, happy lives with just a little extra care—mainly regular vet checkups and attention to any infections or dental issues that may arise.

Please Note: Sammy and Sandy are posted as a courtesy listing for an independent rescue group and are not in the custody or care of Darien Animal Hospital. For questions or adoption inquiries, please email dahpetfinder@gmail.com, and we’ll gladly forward your message to the appropriate contact. We kindly ask that you do not call Darien Animal Hospital directly.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to two loving brothers who bring twice the affection and double the charm, reach out to learn more about Sammy and Sandy!
