Sandy Gallito 7910-03's Story

Meet Sandy! She is a beautiful and extremely loving domestic shorthair cat with a black and white bicolor coat. She has an estimated birthdate of 02/15/2025.

Unfortunately, due to severe untreated upper respiratory infection, Sandy has chronic ocular drainage and will need her eye corner wiped whenever debris gathers. This is a common issue in cats with severe untreated eye infections because the tear duct and surrounding tissue becomes permanently altered due to scarring.

Sandy is a wonderful cat who loves spending time with people, and is easy going around cats, dogs, rabbits and more. She and her sister are so wonderful and social that they help assess new incoming dogs for cat sociability. She can ride in the car, is easy to take out and about, and can wear a harness to go in the yard.

Sandy's adoption fee is $50 and includes her medical records and a sample of the food she's been eating. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Murci's Mission 's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to apply with Murci's Mission! We are a foster based 501c3 that specializes in animals with medical and behavioral needs. We do not have a facility or set hours of operation. To be considered to adopt with us, your first step will be to submit an adoption application. From there we will read through our application and make sure that we feel like you and your household will be a good match for your desired pet. If we feel that you are a good match, we will contact you via phone or email to ask any questions we may have and to let you know that we are beginning the process of screening your application. We will then call your references and vet, and finally schedule a meet and greet with you at a time that works for you at your place of residence where we will perform a brief homecheck to ensure there are no immediate dangers to the pet. In most cases, adoption can take place at the end of the meet and greet. For particularly shy pets, or pets that may need more time to warm up to resident animals, additional meet and greets may need to take place. We look forward to meeting you and thank you immensely for choosing to adopt.
