Sandy's Story

Sandy has been stuck at the shelter for some time now, and there's a clear reason why. Sandy is a bit of a grump. While we don't know her full story, it is clear that life has not been easy for this senior girl. When she was found as a stray, she was sick and unable to fend for herself out in the world, suffering from a condition that made it difficult to move properly. While Sandy has physically healed at the shelter, she is still a cautious and independent lady. She needs a kind and understanding person to give her a quiet home for her golden years.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.

This link will take you to our adoption application.
https://capemaycountynj.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5814/Adoption-Application
